Curriculum Vitae

Ph.D. student at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Rigshospitalet. The overall project examines the use of re-irraditaion for recurrent glioma (brain cancer) as well as the use of amino-acid PET (positron emission tomography) and dynamic MRI to improve radiotherapy for high-grade glioma.
Søren is collaborating with the Functional Imaging Unit on a prospective clinical protocol investigating changes in perfusion, diffusion and BOLD imaging during the course of radio- and chemotherapy for Glioblastoma multiforme, the most common and deadly form of brain cancer. The project is a joint venture between the FIU and the Depts. of Radiation Oncology and Oncology, Rigshospitalet.
